For the fifth time in the last 9 years, The Sextant Group is honored by American City Business Journals as one of Western Pennsylvania’s “Best Places to Work”. In October, our recognition will be publicly announced at an awards ceremony expected to attract over 500 CEO’s, HR Directors and other executives from local companies.

“Considering the remarkable growth the firm has undergone in the last year — opening a Los Angeles office, exploring additional office opportunities, and significantly expanding personnel — I am ecstatic,” says President Mark Valenti. “It is an honor to be recognized. We attribute our success to the caliber of our staff. It is our people who have created the culture and environment I’m so proud of, and for which we’ve been recognized.”

Since 1995, architects across the US and Canada — and their clients in business, education, healthcare and government — continue to look to us for independent technology consulting and design for higher education, healthcare, corporate, performing arts, broadcast/studios and sports facilities. Our firm specializes in creating systems and solutions for audiovisual and information technology, broadcast, telecommunications, building security, acoustics, technical lighting, theatre technology, medical communications, and faculty development.

Across the US, we’ve added 11 new team members just in the past 7 months, plus 9 more in 2014. Currently, we have 67 total employees across 9 offices nationwide. Within the last year, we opened a Los Angeles office, moved our Phoenix-metro operations, and are now preparing to announce a new regional market.

“We developed this program to highlight the world-class workplaces that are being developed in the Pittsburgh region,” said Alan Robertson, publisher, Pittsburgh Business Times. “Best Places to Work provides employers with many benefits besides bragging rights. If you win this award, it’s great for employee attraction and retention as well.”
