Faced with the challenge of creating technology-infused, life-long learning spaces at Tyler Junior College that result in responsiveness to health issues, Project Consultant Mary Cook CTS led a team of skilled designers in creating cutting-edge technology systems for a truly state-of-the-art, simulation education while tripling the classroom capacity of the college’s current healthcare programs. In collaboration with the college’s IT department, The Sextant Group designed presentation, lecture-capture, communication and collaboration, digital signage, room scheduling and control system technologies for more than 75 rooms and spaces within the building including medical sonography and musculoskeletal laboratories and a dental hygiene pre-clinic technique lab and operatory.
