A technology expert with 25 years of industry expertise, Roger Campbell has joined The Sextant Group as Senior Systems Designer.

Based in Phoenix, Roger will work closely with the firm’s consultants nationwide, providing audiovisual, IT/telecom, security, acoustics and lighting design services for higher education, corporate and healthcare clients. In his new role, he will lead discussions of audiovisual strategies in support of client’s business and technology objectives; design and specify audiovisual systems; create infrastructure and systems drawings and perform site reviews.

Roger is among an elite group of professionals holding both the CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist ― Design) designation and CTS-I (Certified Technology Specialist —-Installation) designation, distinctions held by fewer than 200 professionals nationwide. His project experience ranges from high tech learning spaces, municipal and federal assembly spaces to standardized enterprise technology deployments.

Prior to joining The Sextant Group, Roger was the Executive Director of Engineering/CIO for Phoenix-based Technology Providers, Inc. (TPI) for 12 years. He also held senior positions at Exhibit One, 3S Phoenix, and Polaroid.

Roger’s client base includes Arizona State University, The Mayo Clinic, University of Arizona, City of Phoenix, Pima County, City of Chandler, Northern Arizona University, City of Phoenix and the City of Surprise. Key project experience includes Camelback Ranch Spring Training Facility, Phelps Dodge Headquarters, T-Gen Phoenix campuses, Claremont University Consortium, Empire Corporate Headquarters/Training Center and UTEP College of Nursing.

Roger’s credential’s include Infocomm – CTS, CTS-D, CTS I, Crestron, AMX, Extron, Syn-Aud-Con Member, Cisco VTC Engineering, Multiple DSP Certifications, COMPTIA Partner Advisory Council.
