TissueInformatics had an opportunity to expand into an historic industrial building with significant location advantages. However, in order to consider high technology use such as electron microscopy, significant sound and vibration issues needed to be addressed and remedied.

The challenges facing this cutting edge bio-technology firm included the nearby heavy railway, constant roadway and construction traffic, and the continued use of sections of the building as industrial warehouse spaces which create high vibration levels.

Through systematic vibration measurements and analysis, vibration mitigation techniques, and space planning, The Sextant Group was able to strategically assess the feasibility of using such valuable space for the very highest in biotechnology engineering.
