Everyone knows and loves the "First & Ten" visual enhancement to broadcast sports, made possible by SporTVisions Mobile Computing Laboratory. SporTVision's Mobile Unit serves as a multi-functional platform for the operational development of advanced telemetry/data gathering techniques, and enhanced graphics presentation systems for live sports telecasts.

The Sextant Group's flexible design allowed a multi-functional facility to execute a variety of activities, including software development, training and operations, yet has the versatility to be quickly reconfigured into a high quality presentation space.

The space was refreshingly reconfigurable and based on a modular technology workstation approach. This delivered the added benefit that technology is now placed at the user's fingertips, reducing downtime and costs for major system reconfiguration. Spaces quickly can shift from engineering to operations to marketing needs, efficiently meeting the physical and technical requirements of each in user-friendly and generous workstations.

The design is built within an all-digital video infrastructure for optimum quality and ease of interconnection with production units, and provides a self-contained operation with internal video and audio routing switchers, intercom matrix and sync systems.
