KIEL MAPES CTS-D
SYSTEMS DESIGNER

A recent engineering graduate, Kiel brings to The Sextant Group a fresh mind, eagerness to learn, and a sharp eye for detail. He will assist with designs spanning a multitude of vertical markets and included higher education, corporate, and medical environments.

Currently Kiel is working as systems designer on projects for Northeastern Medical College, Wayne State University, Seattle University, and Lorain County Community College. His past experience includes an internship at GE Transportation in the traction control motors department. Kiel also has experience in the construction energy working for local firms throughout his college career.

Mapes is accomplished in MATLAB and AutoCAD and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. He is an avid golfer, snowboarder, and guitar player, is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and is credentialed as a Certified Technology Specialist Design by InfoComm International.
